Testimonials

Ashrita Chavali, (Animator, Director and Producer on “Morning Bake”)

“The SHM Film Collective Mentorship was a valuable asset to us. We approached the collective for guidance in visual development and crafting an interesting film. We were soon paired up with Priscilla. During our session, she pushed us to expand our horizons by reminding us of what we cherish and to look for it in our own favorite films. Thanks to her advice, we were able to cut through the clutter and truly focus on the emotional core of the film.”

“It was great to reconnect with the SJSU Animation Illustration program. So excited to see the growth of new talented artists!”.

Priscilla Wong, Dreamworks Animation Concept Artist

“This project was entirely done during the hardest lockdown phase of the Covid19 pandemic. All classes were online including the BFA class. Students could not meet in person or work on campus. Even with all the obstacles presented by the pandemic, SHM seniors were able to complete several films during the 2 years of lockdown, a testimony to their resilience, collaborative spirit and commitment to their art”.
