The SHM Film Archive aims to collect, archive and organize a comprehensive collection of short films made by Shrunkenheadman students and alumni over the years. We currently have a collection of over 40 films created by filmmakers in our community. In addition to the films, we aim to archive film posters, and some information about each film (crew, contact info, director, producer etc) Our archival collection can be consulted by community members wanting to research into past films. In addition, the SHM Film Archive team can organize programs showing different sets of films for SHM events (SHM Con, 14F screenings, alumni events such as reunions etc) etc. We also plan to organize future screenings of SHM short films – both online and also in movie theaters and auditoriums.
In the future, we plan to have an online viewing/streaming channel with all the films in our collection, making it easier for members and public to peruse over SHM short films. At the moment we are still working on the details of this new initiative.
